Food Table Volunteers

If you can’t run the race, help us “run” the race!

Everyone who volunteers will receive a free shirt (not to mention our undying love and affection)! 

Festival set-up and support
Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Description: Help setup festival area. Escort festival partners to their designated table location, hook up to water and/or power (if needed), notify festival partners of logistics (restroom locations, schedule, etc.)

Registration & packet pick-up 
Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Description: Process race day registrations, provide packets to pre-registered participants.

Water stop support
Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Description: Set up, monitor and maintain designated water stop, provide water to participants, pick up waste after all participants have passed, break down water stop.

Course flaggers 
Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Description: Direct runners on the race course, stop traffic at intersections as runners approach. Volunteers will be asked to arrive at Deering High School anywhere between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.

Finish chute support 
Shift: 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Description: Guide runners into finish chute, assist with electronic timing device removal.

Post-race food table support 
Shift: 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Description: Set up and supervise food provided for participants following the race.

Festival area support & break-down 
Shift: 11:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Description: Provide support to festival participants; assist with break-down of festival area after event.
